I’m Ella Donovan — a storyteller, strategist, and recent PR & Advertising graduate based in Pittsburgh.

From managing PRSSA events and leading media campaigns to writing concert reviews and building social media strategies, I thrive at the intersection of creativity and communication. I bring a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to every project — whether I’m promoting a local band, writing a feature for a zine, or helping a brand connect with its audience online.

My work spans digital marketing, journalism, social media, and public relations, with a special passion for the music and entertainment space. I’ve managed content calendars, boosted engagement through short-form video, and helped grow authentic communities through clear, compelling messaging.

Right now, I’m focused on creating meaningful stories that build connection — and using my skills in strategy, content, and design to bring those stories to life.

 

I am enthusiastic about using my skills in the music industry, especially with the amount of live shows I go to. I am constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow from my peers and professionals around me.
